How about something entirely different to round off the year!?! In Grömitz - enjoy hours of cosy warmth in the sauna and sip hot mulled wine on the wintry market accompanied by a homemade waffle while dancing to the music of various different artists. For romantics: 2-horse carriage rides and torchlight processions. For the tiny tots: baking fun, handicrafts and children's disco. Things will be getting hot in Grömitz. A giant bonfire in Biikebrennen style on the beach in front of the Schlemmerland restaurant will be lit to chase away the winter in Grömitz.
The beach will be transformed into a golf course here. It is not for nothing that we say: golfing in every direction. Teeing off from the pier into the Baltic Sea is only one of many unusual places to play golf on this occasion. Non-golfers are warmly welcome too! Registration required!
Easter Bunny will be there and ready for action in Grömitz. It is not just in searching for his golden egg that children, parents, grandmas and granddads are in demand. Many charming little events are scheduled for families on this weekend. The beach house is open and will be welcoming children for games mornings, beach parties, Easter handicraft afternoons, Nintendo contests and much more.
A monument will be created in honour of the most popular of all seaside delicacies, Grömitz will be celebrating the fish sandwich. Music, beach basket chairs, seagulls (if they are there) and a tasty fish sandwich will be part of this very maritime day by the Baltic Sea.

Get out your sports gear, get changed, lace up your sports shoes, put on your bib number, wait for starting gun and off you go! Various different races on the spar promenade, along the dyke, to Cismar and around the Klostersee lake. The winning runners are selected and honoured. Feel like joining in on the run? The family round trip approx. 42 km long begins in the entire Baltic Sea holiday region. The punch card can be obtained in advance from tourist information or directly on site.
Heading up, bearing away, tacking and jibing will once again be the order of the day. A sporting weekend entirely dominated by water sport. A colourful supporting programme, accompanied by live music of course, will perfectly round off the water sport weekend.
From 15th to 18th June 2017 the best of german windsurf master will come to Grömitz.
During Grömitz Sportsweek every day will be celebrated another sport where you can join. So get up and get your sports dress!
The Grömitz promenade will turn into a big stage for artists.
Cismar monastery festival, with its array of small stalls brimming with handcrafted products, fine wines, sweet seductions, hearty specialities and many different musical tones, will be a crowd-puller for many visitors.
The Bavarians are on the loose again - the Störtebeker restaurant will be presenting its traditional Bavarian week! Try hearty local delicacies, enjoy tasty refreshments and a blue and white festive mood!
It looks as though the Baltic Sea is on fire. A spectacular firework display with a laser show accompanied by beautiful music. Everyone knows and loves it. 45,000 visitors mean more than a thousand words....
The Grömitz marina will be the scene of bopping, singing, eating and enjoyment. Maritime is the keyword here. The harbour will show its most attractive side and come alive with music, a colourful promenade and delicious food typical of the Baltic Sea.
